Providing exceptional patient care requires both experience and repetition. Due to COVID-19, patient encounters for many optometry residents and students decreased in order to adhere to safe practicing guidelines. To help supplement their clinical experience and education, we created a virtual clinic of patients to examine. At Virtual OD you can improve your ability to diagnose and manage ocular disease by interacting with these virtual patients. By applying this case-based learning, we hope to build the confidence and clinical competence of our users.
